Help Hold Vallejo PD Accountable
Sean Monterrosa murdered by police while kneeling down and with his hands above his waist, a sign of surrender.
According to leftvoice.org, an hour before Sean Monterrosa was killed by police, he sent his family one last text: “Can you help me out by signing this petition (for George Floyd)?”
GRASSROOTS LAW PROJECT SHARES:
“Sean Monterrosa was kneeling down with his hands up when Vallejo police shot and killed him at a local Walgreens during protests for George Floyd. He was unarmed and cooperative, but Vallejo police officer Jarrett Tonn shot Sean five times from behind the windshield of an unmarked police car.
He was a loving son and middle brother who worked with Latinx youth in the community and was dedicated to making a difference. He was a reader and an athlete who cared deeply for others.”
